  10. The next meeting of the Federal Networking Council Advisory
  11. Committee (FNCAC) will be held on Thursday, October 21, 1993
  12. from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the National Science Foundation,
  13. room 540, 1800 G Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.  This meeting is
  14. open to the public.  The purpose of the FNCAC is to advise the 
  15. Federal Networking Council on policy and programmatic matters related
  16. to Federal networking for research and education.
  17.  
  18. The agenda, which is subject to change, will include the following:
  19.  
  20.      1- Overview of FNC Activities
  21.      2- Briefing on the Information Infrastructure Task Force
  22.      3- Relationship of the NII to the NREN Program
  23.      4- Leveraging Federal Funding with Corporate and Local Government
  24.         Funding to Provide K-12 Access to Networking
  25.      5- Standardizing Export Control Regulations
  26.      6- Follow-up to Past Meetings
  27.  
  28. Payable on the day of the meeting, a mimimum fee of $6.00 will be charged
  29. to each attendee to cover expenses, including meeting materials and
  30. refreshments.  For an additional $8.00, attendees may purchase
  31. a buffet lunch, thus the total for lunch, morning refreshments, and
  32. materials will be $14.00.
